Sunset in the pasture.

Random dogs running around the property harassing the goats, chickens, and guineas definitely mess up the afternoon plans.

We weren't able to catch them. Luckily no animals were hurt.

Apparently, I'm getting hubby new shoes since they got peed on when he went to give the boys fresh water this evening.

The boys are ready for the ladies!

I found the goats escape route from the pasture and sealed it yesterday. Today was great, they were in the pasture all day. At 4pm I went to get the kids from school and ALL the goats were out of the pasture. Guess I'm walking the pasture this weekend to find the newest escape route.

Dogwood Ranch Nigerian Dwarf Goats there's a show in September we could take some juniors to. We don't really have anyone in milk at the moment so.milkers is out. Might be some good fun for some learning.

When we got this girl about a year ago, she was stand off-ish and leary of us. I'm pretty sure her previous farm was less chaos. Fast forward to today, she knows her name and will talk to us when we talk to her and sometimes she talks when no one is talking to her. She's not the most in your face goat we have but she fits right in. She loves her scratches, too.
