Nysewander Farms grows vegetables for sale at the Plainfield Farmer's Market sponsored by the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce. It also sells directly from the farm from time to time depending on supply.

The Nysewander Family has been involved with vegetables, fruit and product for over 100 years. My grandfather, Rufus Nysewander started it all by growing sweet corn, musk melons, and apples starting in the 1920's. My uncle Rufus took over the orchard and also grew vegetables until the 2000's. My son Matt and I started Nysewander Farms in 2012 and attend the Plainfield Farmers Market every Wednesday during the season. My father also grew produce in his large family garden.
