Last weekend I ventured down to Madison Indiana for the Madison's BBQ Party.

Reaults:
Chicken 19th
Ribs 21st
Pork 23rd
Brisket 3rd (tied for second and lost the tie breaker)
Desert 7th
Overall 14th out of 39 with a 680.4684

This event was amazing and a huge shout out and thank you to all the organizers and volunteers for all the work they put into making this even so fun. We got set up by our newest friends JayRhea BBQ i am looking forward to cooking with you guys again in the future! Huge thank you to so many people: Diddy’s Delectable 3BQ for cooking the Peach Cheesecake (we got first on our table). My box runner Maddie, you were a huge help. Will and Shelby with Rigby Roo's BBQ, Kyle Winkler and On The Brink BBQ it was great catching up with you guys!

Overall, I am super proud of the boxes I was able to complete and turn in. Next stop is August 29th Hog Days of Summer in Bloomington Indiana.

Late posting this, but a couple weekends ago we ventured to Troy Illinois for my first double at Smoke N for the Kids.

Overall 20th out of 26 with a 667.2568

Sunday's reaults:
Chicken 13th
Ribs 24th
Pork 29th
Brisket 26th
Overall 27th out of 32 with a 683.3144

This event was the first time running all 4 meats on the BFR, lots of lessons were learned and I feel it showed as the weekend progressed. The double was definitely a tough and wore me down as the weekend went on, but i had lots of people help and support me. My brother Scott Pattenaude and his family came to help cook and show their support on Saturday. Cori Ernstes also come over from Indy early Saturday morning to help and experience cooking the double. These guys helped make this event fun and one that I will remember for years to come.

Overall, I am super proud of the boxes we were able to complete and turn in. The Outlaws ran amazing I continue to learn a lot with every cook.

Home and unpacked this weekend I went back up to Westland Michigan to cook at All American BBQ Throwdown.

Friday's results:
Ribs 12th out of 32 teams Wild Child winner

Saturday's reaults:
Chicken 5th
Ribs 10nd
Pork 35th
Brisket 13th
Overall 16th out of 45 with a 686.7888

Congratulations to Bucked Up BBQ on their GC and Janky Leg BBQ on winning RGC.

This event is absolutely amazing and a huge shout out and thank you to the BOVA Post 9885 and Shiggin Ain’t Easy BBQ for all the work they put into making this even so fun. Overall, I am super proud of the boxes I was able to complete and turn in. The Outlaws ran amazing I continue to learn a lot with every cook. Next stop is August 15th and 16th Smoke N for the Kids in beautiful Troy Illinois.

Had a pretty good cook knocking the rust off. Finished 12th out of 32 teams and won Wild Child. Not a bad consolation prize!

This weekend I drove up to Westland Michigan to attempt my first 100% solo KCBS competition and to compete at Smoke in the Mitten!

Saturday's reaults:
Chicken 16th

Brisket 23rd
Overall 15th out of 34with a 677.0284

Overall, this was an awesome event that I highly recommend! Super proud of the boxes I was able to complete and turn in. I continue to learn a lot with every cook. Next stop is next weekend at the 5th annual Barbeque, Blues and Brews in beautiful Bloomfield Indiana. This is a special competition for me to return to as last year this was my first time being head cook and the one that got me hooked on competing.
