We're incredibly proud of The Young Hull and their awards for youth baking. They've decided they want to add Meringues to their farmer's market table. They did dollops for these, but I'll be teaching them the simple rose technique using the 2D piping tip.

I think the light from the flashlight shining into our field scared it off for now because my yelling out at it didn't. Everyone is locked in for the night so they should be safe.

It's definitely soup season here! This is a cup of homemade goodness right here. It's packed with veggies like carrots, celery, onions, bush beans, pole beans, and mushrooms. I made egg noodles and rolls, and everything came together so nicely.

It was a nice chicken noodle soup for the family.

After about 85 days we finally got a rain that actually was worth it. We finally have puddles!

We got our fair entries all brought in! Some of the flowers and veggies didn't pan out like we had hoped. Our Calendula all bloomed last week and are going to seed out soon, so they were no good to enter.

My roses didn't do their best either, but I still took in two. I don't expect to win anything for them, they're in rough shape, but it's always good to help fill in the empty spaces.

I went to pull up some carrots this morning and 👎 most weren't even longer than a pinky finger.

We'll plan more for next year, but for now it's nice to just enjoy the rain.
