If this breeding takes, kids will be due Feb 24th 2027! 🥳 (I needed something fun to do late February in the middle of Michigan winter 😂)

Zavier’s dam is the amazing GCH Swisher Hill’s ATL Sgaeyl 1*M, who Ive loved the moment I laid eyes on her… officially an unofficial champion and was 9th place at the ADGA Nationals this year as a 2yr old! Zavier’s sires dam is CH Agape’s Prize Praise Be 2nd place/2nd udder at the 2025 Nationals.

We are packing up for a show tomorrow and this girl is on that ride out! Wish her luck as her last show being a senior dry yearling. 🥹 Really proud of her and can’t wait for these special kids! ✨

✨ BREEDING ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

There’s something exciting about this one. 🥹

Swisher Hill DH Zavier has officially been put to work and succeeded 😭🥳 not once, but with two different does in our small herd! With limited breeding opportunities, Zavier will be covering three does this season, including does I genuinely admire and have plans to retain from because HE is nice and want to keep as many Zavier babies as I possibly can. 😆

For this announcement, though, the spotlight belongs to Serenity Farms L Natalia. ❤️‍🔥

Natalia is a doe I’ve appreciated more and more and grown to love. She has placed top 2/3 in multiple nice classes. She is an absolute gem being the same dependable girl on the milk stand every day twice a day, and has the kind of temperament that makes working with her something I genuinely enjoy.

And then there’s the production potential...

While measuring and practicing in preparation for future milk testing, Natalia was producing almost 5 pounds a day 👀 reinforcing why I see so much value in this doe as a brood doe.

I’m very excited to see what Serenity Farms L Natalia × Swisher Hill DH Zavier brings us. Thinking… improvements of overall general appearance and some fine tuning. 💛

If this breeding takes, she will be due 2/24/26…. A little earlier than planned but the fomo is real. 😅Reservations for 2nd doeling are available with discounts to performance homes. ✨

Happy Rump Wednesday! 🍑

After the last year of showing goats for the first time and making the trip to Nationals, I’ve learned just how important backs, width, and overall structure really are. Seeing what I admired in the standard breeds and learning how to bring those qualities into the Nigerian Dwarf breed has completely changed what I look for.

And now? I want a WIDE rump! 🤪

I’m proud to say that over the last year, I’ve added some really cool goats to our herd. With a lot of guidance, learning, and a much more intentional eye for structure, our herd is a whole 180° from where I started with my first pet goats.

We’re focusing on quality, performance, structure, and building a herd that can truly do it all.

💕 DISNEY IS A GIRL! 💕

When Disney came to us, she was a tiny little doeling who had been dam raised and arrived much smaller than many of our other babies. Thankfully, she took to the bottle like a champ and has been growing very well! 🥰

A friend noticed that Disney’s teats were noticeably smaller than many of our other doelings, which brought up the concern that she could potentially be a freemartin. So, we sent off a test and waited… and waited… and waited. 😅

After what felt like the longest month ever, we FINALLY got her results back!

✨ DISNEY IS A GIRL! ✨
💕 She is NOT a freemartin! 💕

I can’t even explain how happy this result made me. I’ve poured so much love, time, and care into this little girl, and I’m beyond thankful that she has a healthy future ahead of her.

We look forward to watching Disney grow up. She’s already gained a growthy 10lbs since her (her, her, her 🎶) arrival and since this picture was taken!

Disney is the direct granddaughter of two time National Champion, GCH Agape’s Prize French Quarter 4*M EEEE 92! 🤯 AND as a bonus… ➕… color! Black based Swiss with blue eyes…. WIDE, with some crazy wrinkly dairy skin…. Someone pinch me that she is here!

To celebrate a successful season, we decided to do a fun photoshoot for some of our favorite does currently in milk.

This girl truly puts in all in the pail. 👀 Natalia was milking close to 5lbs daily at the beginning of her lactation and I kick myself for not milk testing this year. 🙃 She was on the possible sale list but I’m glad I waited. She is the same easy gal on the stand, every day x2 daily and she feeds kids. She also placed 3rd multiple times this year at shows. This was the first performance doe I brought home with my own knowledge. Im looking forward to seeing her as a 3 year old next year with even more maturity.

Tahlia will be bred to🀄️Swisher Hill DH Zavier🀄️this fall who is out of GCH (pending) Swisher Hill’s ATL Sgaeyl 1*M x CH Agape’s Prize Praise Be. This is with hopes to improve front end assembly and strength throughout as well as fine tuning her general appearance. Super excited for kids out of this pair and 1st doeling will be retained. Breeding season starts soon for us!! Crossing our fingers that Zavier is up for the job.
