Last weekend, we were incredibly honored to be part of the Alumni Equestrian Events Tournament of Champions at the beautiful Ridge at Riverview in Asbury, NJ, alongside our partners at Perris Leather, Devoucoux and a surprise guest that you will have to scroll through photos to find!

We have so much appreciation for this organization and its exhibitors, who go above and beyond to ensure these horses are loved and cared for while giving their all in the show ring. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped horse-hold, hose off, and care for our horses as if they were their own.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to Giselle, Biscuit, and Ricky Bobby for helping their riders earn some outstanding accomplishments throughout the weekend:

✨ Versatile Ranch/Reining Prospect with Proven Pedigree ✨

✨2018 AQHA/APHA/NRHA/ARHA mare by The Kids Gotta Gun ($104,000+ LTE, $400,000+ PE, 6 panel N/N; Spooks Gotta Gun x Melimelo Kid) and out of an Imasmartpepto (Peptoboonsmal) mare.

✨Super cute and stands just shy of 14 hands. She is 100% sound with no maintenance. PPE from last May available for review. Up to date on vaccines, farrier, and dental.

✨Lena has been shown in ARHA and APHA ranch classes in both Open and Youth divisions. She has also been trail ridden, ridden English, and lightly started over cross rails.

✨Athletic and smart with excellent movement. She has a solid reining foundation with a good stop and turnaround started. Currently would benefit from a refresher on lead changes. She is a forward-moving mare with a lot of try.

🐴☀️ Horseback riding is coming back to YMCA Camp Sloper this summer!

We’re so excited to announce that this summer’s horseback riding program will now be operated and under the instruction of AF Show Horses! This program was such a huge success in the past, and we can’t wait to introduce a whole new group of campers to the horses, the barn, and all of the fun and confidence-building that comes with riding.
We are beyond excited for an amazing summer ahead and so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing this program!

So excited for Jonathan as he heads off to Morocco for a guided horseback riding tour! 🐴🌍
It’s been such a fun and rewarding experience helping him prepare over the last 8 weeks, and we can’t wait to hear all about the adventure. Safe travels and enjoy every minute!
A huge shoutout to our instructor Megan for all of her dedication, hard work, and support throughout and all of the horses that have assisted with his preparation — we couldn’t have done it without her! ✨
