LONG BUT PLZ READ TO THE END....It has been and ALWAYS WILL BE our goal to provide each n every pet that stays with us the VERY BEST in personalized care and clean and sanitary accommodations. That being said, VERY FEW TIMES in the past 20+ years we've been in business have we had dogs pick something up from their stay with us. That is because we examine the dogs at check in to see that they 'appear' healthy n normal activity levels. We also REQIRE certain vaccinations to help prevent spread of disease. We have turned ppl away that have shown up here with their dog that showed shabby red patches n when I asked if they'd had the dog to the vet, they replied yes, it's RINGWORM! But told me to just make sure we washed our hands after touching him! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! They were EXTREMELY upset because they had a plane to catch n BEGGED me to take him! NO, NO N NO!!!!! Well, this past few days has me EXTREMELY upset at the HORRENDOUS accusations from a person who'd never been here before and left her year n half old intact holden retriever with us for 31 days. He left Fri. 3/24. They wanted him boarded because he was intact and 'showing some aggression and had a new baby in the home'. They made NO MENTION he had anything wrong with him n he appeared healthy n happy. We had ABSOLUTELY no problem with him the entire stay. He was, however, extremely hyper and active. He was in one of our private suites, in between another male golden of approximately the same age. These 2 silly boys ran non stop mouthing n playing with each other thru their patio fence anytime they were both in their suites. When he was put in the bathtub 3 hours before departure, we noticed after he was wet that he had what appeared to be very coarsely ground black pepper coming off his skin all over. I've seen scaly patches before but nothing like this. I kept what came off him in the brush to show the owner, figuring they were unaware because u could not see or even feel anything when he was dry. I spoke n detail to the Aunt n she said her niece knows he's got dry skin. At that time she wrote a check for the balance n Lane went to the back to bring him up to leave. He came full speed into the office wagging his tail, happy as he always was. The Aunt said ' HI Tripp, don't u look great!' She proceeded to hand Lane a $20 bill as a tip. He kept refusing so she laid it down n said Aunt Tracy can do that if she wants n because he looks great'! While we completed the payment n talked more about his HORRIBLE skin, he was in front of Lane sitting in the chair trying to get him to play with his front feet n crouching down. She finished n took him n left. The very next day, I received this msg from his owner(see below) and contacted her IMMEDIATELY. She proceeded to tell me she was EXTREMELY upset that her dog was 'Soaking wet with mats behind his ears' and LETHARGIC at pickup! This us ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE N IF IT WERE, WHY DID SHE INSIST ON LANE TAKING HER $20 TIP? I told the owner that WAS NOT TRUE and asked her that question for which her answer was 'she just wanted to get him out of there n didn't know what to say '.....she also stated he has vomited 12 times Saturday morning n was so lethargic she couldn't hardly get him in the car! I was COMPLETELY taken back as NONE of this happened here as shes saying it did! She also said she had to rebathe him n 'tons of soap was still n his coat'! I explained it was not soap but a special LEAVE IN CONDITIONER we used because his skin was so bad n I thought it might help. She argued no it wasn't, it was white SOAP! I tried over n over to tell her our conditioner IS WHITE but she kept talking over me, saying that's not true! In addition she took him to the vet immediately as she should if he were vomiting like she said. They said he'd lost 10 # while he was here (31 days). At one point in the conversation she said 15 #. And stated he was MALNOURISHED AND HAD BEEN ABUSED/NEGLECTED/AND NOT FED!!! I did tell her about how he was EXTREMELY active all day EVERY DAY n maybe I should have increased his food from the 2 cups 2x day that he got at home as his activity level had probably increased 10 fold. She refused to believe that n again stated because I had confused him with Finn, the other cream golden next to him, that we probably fed Finn twice n never fed Tripp because we had so many dogs here! I am now LIVID! We DONT forget to feed anyone as we go straight down the line one after another! I was VERY concerned about his extreme vomiting and contacted Finns owner to c if he was sick as he'd been picked up almost a week before. I also called the owner of the dog that shared the fence on the other side, which was here almost 5 weeks. Both owners said their dogs were fine, nothing at all out of the normal. I NEED TO KNOW what this boy has because I cannot risk any others if it's something contagious. We clean n sanitize every single day but this has me very worried. We had NO sick animals the month he was here, nor still to this minute. I did some research online n found out his 'dry skin' that she said she knew about but was never this bad, is a GENETIC HEREDITARY CONDITION prevelant in goldens called ICHTHYOSIS. She said she'd never heard of that before n he'd never been diagnosed with it, only 'dry skin'. Upon doing further research into this, I found several articles from respected Vet hospitals that this condition can worsen with STRESS, TEMPERATURE CHANGES N OTHER CONDITIONS AND WEIGHT LOSS N LETHARGY ARE ASSOCIATED WITH IT! She said his vomiting 12 times was 'return to feeding after he'd been starved'!!!! I really hope this uneducated owner and less than adequate vet don't try to SLANDER my business because I will seek legal action! I felt it was important for all of my clients to know this story and give u all a chance to respond if u want to. Thank u all n sorry so long.....

UPDATE! I need this gone asap before they start tearing out these walls. I would take 250 if anyone interested! Its a very high quality piece n thats a steal!!!

Anyone interested in a very nice, high quality solid oak entertainment center? I'm remodeling my entire home n taking out a big support wall and now have no place for it. I paid almost $3000 for it 10 yrs ago n it's in like new condition. Will hold 65+" TV as it expands. It's lighted n comes apart n 5 PC for transport but still very heavy so you'd need to bring help moving! Asking $400 OBO. If interested, shoot me an offer cuz I need it gone before they start on the flooring! Thank u!!!

Between so much going on at the kennel n house breaking not 1 but 2 puppies, there's never a dull moment around here! With over 34 boarding dogs, its so hard to get pics of each one n then u have to remember to have ur phone handy too! If u don't see ur baby, its not for any reason other than just didn't think of it at the right time! Please leave us a comment if your baby's been here recently with your experience! Enjoy!!!

Rysher farms in pleasant plans is a jail for dogs. The owner Sherry said that she was going to retire but change her mind you should rethink that. She is the worst. Donot take your pet to this woman. She had our chester for one week and she said he was matted and she trim all of the hairs from his stomach. We had him for 5 years and he never matted . We found out in his skin was some kind of rash. Laying in a wet gage
He also had bite Mark's from another dog. Please don't let this person gage your pet. Sherry rysher farms Kennels in Pleasant plans, il
