We have been soooo busy this summer, basically full for weeks on end! We appreciate all our clients, old n new for allowing us to care for ur precious babies!!! I'll try to do posts more often but here's a few pics of our sweet guests n some others from around the farm! Thank u all again!!!

Well, for all of Rugers fans that come to the kennel n love on him, he wanted me to tell u he's now the #3 Tibetan Mastiff in the country!!!!! Much thanks to his awesome handler n friend Amy Beard n his other best friend n handler, our daughter,, Angela Derosa!!! Without u both, thus wouldn't have been possible!!! He loves u both n we do too!!He also wanted me to announce he has a girlfriend that he'll take out n the next couple weeks! Her name's Sylvie n shes a beautiful blue n tan lady that we purchased from the renowned Aujudon Tibetan Mastiff in GA. Thank u for allowing us to purchase this lovely girl!!

Family of Auburn man hospitalized with COVID-19 takes Memorial to court to get Ivermectin

This is certainly NOT all the truth but in a very political town, n state, it doesn't surprise me. This is our dear Friend of 30+ years n its so unfair. He's been on the vent now close to 50 days, n is still n CRITICAL condition. If u can find it n ur heart, please pray for Randy and Anita n their family. If at all possible, plz go to the go fund me page listed in the article n donate, no matter how small, it all adds up! Well folks, we have an announcement for u all! We have taken our place off the mkt and have changed our plans to stay! We're even going to do some renovation n add a few more luxury suites as they are so popular n always booked full! We thank all our wonderful clients for allowing us to be as successful as we are! Its always our pleasure to care for every one of ur babies while u r away! Angie is back with us full time and we r taking grooming appointments Sunday-Thurs! Thx again everyone n we get few more years to love on ur babies!!!!

Some breeders say Durbin's proposed pet bill are old practices

Hi Sherry! That short version is what was aired yesterday. We decided this was a much bigger story and are going to talk to more breeders about it as well, and then do a bigger story about it. You were right, a lot of breeders feel lumped together!

NEWS UPDATE!!! CH Teamo has been confirmed pregnant with GCH Gandalf!!! Babies due Dec 14th!! These will b Gandalf first babies so excited doesnt even describe it! Also CH Ruger and Sherry are headed for Orlando to compete in the AKC EUKANUBA NATL CHAMPIONSHIP! Only the best of the best compete in this prestigious show! He'll be expertly handled by Robert Ellis. Rugers still a little immature (not even 2 yet n only 14 mo in these pics!) but we think hes mature enough to run with the big dogs(no pun intended!). WISH US LUCK!!!

SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO POST!! Yep! That's POO in the poop scoop! This is AN ENTIRE DAYS WORTH from one of our 130# boys! POO is what the body CANNOT process or use.....this is just one of the MANY reasons I love RAW FEEDING!!!

Wow! I think that we have finally reached the end of our Tibetan mastiff molt! Bout 6 to 8 weeks start to finish but wow! These huge beautiful coats are WORK during molt! 4 different ppl worked a total of 16 hours stripping JUST Rugers coat! Hes a totally different color now! He was all gold n now black sabling has appeared! Hes been busy swimming n playing with one of our daycare dogs, his friend Tucker! Oh and establishing a new identity...lol...Hes headed to MN n a couple weeks to compete against not only a couple of his half brothers but most likely several other quality Champions! Wish us luck!

HI EVERYONE!!! Just want to give everyone a big HEADS UP that a local kennel is closing for retirement and they wanted to be a less to refer their clients that were so good to them for 10 years so they literally dropped in on us memorial day when we were filled to the brim. They wanted to see how we do things here, our options for boarding and the cleanliness of our facility. She went on n on that she was so glad to be able to refer their clients to us n know their dogs will be well cared for! We so appreciate that! Referring your clients, friends or family members is the ULTIMATE COMPLIMENT!! Thank u to all our wonderful clients that continuously pass our name along! BECAUSE OF THE ABOVE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE! We've had to turn ppl down many times this summern itt will b SUPER busy this fall n winters holidays!!! Plz dont wait! If u already know ur Turkey day or Christmas travels dates call us with them! If u wait it's most likely we'll be booked....Thank u all for your continued patronage!!!

Lil love from oldster Malone n silly long ears Lolita!! Malone has been with us since a weanling so 34 yrs!! Lolita only a year old n will be bred someday to our gorgeous lil bitty spotted jack Jose! Everyone loves this mismatched duo that greets all our visitors!

MOTHER NATURE NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME.....Look closely....Angie was picking up branches down from the storm last nite n found this....completely mottled EXACTLY like the branch!!! We were able to relocate him to the big tree he came out of! We will continue to hear his or her sweet talking!!! Love these amazing creatures!!!

DO U HAVE AN OLDER DOG THAT DOESN'T PLAY LIKE THEY USED TO? HAVING A HARD TIME WITH STEPS?
NOT GETTING UP AS QUICKLY AS USED TO? It doesn't gave to be like that! Give us a call n we can discuss transforming your elderly baby back several years when they were bright eyes n playful!! We have another new weekly daycare guest!! Her name is Shadow n shes 7 years old! Her mom wanted her to have more stimulation n exercise as shes starting in the golden years n to ward away arthritis n pain they MUST stay active n keep joints moving!!! The VERY BEST therapy for arthritis is SWIMMING!!! Tucker the 12 yr old airedale/lab started swimming with us in February n when he started here he presented as an old soul but VERY quickly he turned right around n now acts like a 2 yr old! He absolutely LOVES to swim n comes to Rysher every Tues and Thursdays for daycare n his swim sessions! He could be the poster boy for swimming!!! His new friend Shadow had her 1st swim session today n she did really well despite being a little splashy! Another session or 2 n she'll settle right down! Heres a couple pics of her n Tucker from today.....

Alot more annuals n perennials to plant but iris now blooming n brings big beautiful purple flowers! Several beautiful clematis blooming also! Gardens will overflow with color in couple more weeks!!!

Dublin Veterinary Hospital

**UPDATE**

This is the second dog in the last two weeks that we’ve had come in to our hospital with this type of bone stuck around it’s mandible. Separate companies but the EXACT same design.

Please do NOT buy this type of bone for your pup! It’s not worth the risk. Luckily for this patient, our technician was able to wiggle it free but our previous patient was under general anesthesia for nearly a half hour while we went through every tool in our arsenal to saw through both sides of the bone safely.
Both dogs are lucky that they did not end up with lacerations or broken teeth.

**UPDATE** Our client contacted Benebone and they’ve been more than willing to help resolve the issue and safety concerns of their product. This includes contacting multiple retailers to pull these toys off of the shelves!
