Butter Chicken
Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, this quick and easy homemade butter chicken brings the authentic taste of India right to your kitchen. With tender chicken simmered in a smooth tomato-based sauce, it's a comforting meal everyone will love!

Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup plain yogurt
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add the crushed tomatoes, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, paprika, and salt. Stir well to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Add the chicken pieces to the sauce, and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and tender.
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and yogurt, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro before serving.
