We’re always looking for new vegetables to try, and this season we discovered Komatsuna! 🌱

Komatsuna is also known as Japanese mustard spinach or “tender greens,” Komatsuna is a leafy green in the Brassica family, alongside bok choy, tatsoi, and mizuna. It has broad, vibrant green leaves packed with nutrients like calcium and can be enjoyed at different stages of growth.

Young leaves are tender and slightly sweet, while mature leaves develop a bolder, mustardy flavor.

Delicious sautéed, added to soups, or enjoyed fresh this is one green we’re excited to keep growing and cooking with! 🥬
