🍜🍸 Date Night at The Tasty — Plymouth, MA!

We headed to the The Tasty in downtown Plymouth for a night of creative dishes, cocktails, and a little bit of everything!

We kicked things off with the Wings, followed by Beijing Noodles, Nori Fries, and Duck Dumplings. 🍗🥟🍟

For cocktails, I went with the Son of a Peach, a wh***ey cocktail, while Renae ordered the Mockingbird. 🥃🍹

Definitely a fun spot for sharing a bunch of different plates and trying something outside the usual dinner menu!

🌧️🍝 Nor’easter Date Night at Carmela's Italian Restaurant — Kingston, MA

With the nor’easter rolling through the South Shore, we decided to keep date night close to home and head to Carmela’s!

We started with the Sweet Italian Arancini and Tortellini, along with a Raspberry Coconut Mojito and Tropical Wh***ey Punch. 🍹

For dinner, I went with the Chicken Saltimbocca with risotto, while Renae had the Chicken Carmela with homemade noodles. 🍝

Of course we couldn’t leave without a couple after-dinner drinks — an Espresso Martini and, keeping with the season, a Pumpkin Pie Martini. 🎃🍸 We even grabbed a Tiramisu to go for later.

Rain, wind and a nor’easter weren’t stopping date night! 😂🌧️

🍷🥩 Birthday Dinner at Rochambeau Boston — Boston, MA

Back at Rochambeau for my birthday and decided to do their prix fixe steak menu. This was our third time here, and the night started off a little strange — the birthday dessert swan came out before we even ordered our food 😂 We tried explaining it, but nobody really seemed to know what happened.

After that we got into the actual meal with French onion soup, bread, salad, steak & frites. Everything tasted good, although I definitely felt like the portions were a little smaller than what we remembered from previous visits. We asked for some extra fries too, but they took a while to make their way out.

For drinks, Renae had “the Gilded Seed” and I started with “the conversation”then switched over to a Von Trapp b**r. 🍹🍺

A couple hiccups this time around, but we still enjoyed the food and had a good birthday dinner before heading out for the rest of the night.

Another breakfast stop from our Bar Harbor trip! I went with a bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel and, of course, had to try the Choco-Latte ☕️🍫

A great little downtown spot to grab breakfast and coffee before heading out to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Dinner at a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurant 👀🔥

We started with the Gambas — sautéed shrimp with garlic, sherry w**e, sofrito, and grilled herb baguette. We also had the Vieiras (scallops) and Champiñón, a roasted portabella mushroom dish with chimichurri, garbanzo beans, vegan chorizo, truffle aioli, and charred leek cream.

For drinks, we tried a Mojito, Caipirinha, and one of their signature cocktails.

Creative Latin-inspired food, great cocktails, and one of the most unique meals of our Bar Harbor trip.

Quick breakfast stop while exploring Bar Harbor! We grabbed coffees, a blueberry donut, and a bacon, egg & cheese served on their homemade everything roll. 🤤

That homemade roll took a simple breakfast sandwich to another level — exactly what we needed before another full day in Bar Harbor! 🫐☕
