Wonderful. Unpacked the 5lbs block and cut it into 5 equal parts. Vacuum sealed 4 and then put one in the fridge. The process of cutting the block provided several good sized crumbs to sample. First taste brought back childhood memories of the sharp cheddar that my mother would get at the market. Sharp and salty. If you love sharp cheddar I highly recommend you order some today.

Chicken Pot Pie with the big cheese white cheddar biscuit crust
Ingredients:
For pot pie
1/4 olive oil
1 stick of butter
1 cup white onion, small diced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 cup carrots, small diced
½ cup celery, small sliced
1cup AP flour
3 cups chicken bone broth
3 cups heavy cream
1c frozen peas
2 # boneless skinless chicken thigh meat 1/2 inch diced
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In Heat heavy duty pot over medium heat. melt butter, add oil stir in onion, garlic, celery, and carrots for 2 minutes. Add chicken and cook half way through process . Whisk in flour, gradually whisk in chicken stock a few tablespoons at a time until smooth. Whisk heavy cream cook until mixture comes to a boil. Pour peas simmer for 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste .. pour into round cast iron pan
WHITE CHEDDAR BISCUITS
INGREDIENTS
* 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 2 teaspoons sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup cold butter, slightly frozen shred on box grater
* 1 cup BIG CHEESE WHITE shredded cheddar cheese
* 3 tablespoons minced fresh chives
* 1 cup buttermilk
Directions
In large mixing bowl mix all dry ingredients
Add shredded butter
Add buttermilk
Flower surface
Mix dough until incorporated
Flatten out ½ inch thick
Using #4 circle cutter cut out biscuits
Add cut biscuits On top of pot pie Mix, brush with herb butter 1tsp each chopped chives, parsley, oregano, 8oz melted butter
Place on top of pot pie Filling
. Bake on the middle rack for 25-30 minutes or until GBD - golden brown and delicious
