The winter storm that felt like it was never going to end ❄️

The past week has been much more enjoyable with things almost completely thawed out—sunshine, mud, and all! 🌤️🚜
Check out some photos from around the farm as we recap Winter Storm Fern and everything it put us through.

From frozen fences to snow-covered barns, it was one for the books — but we’re thankful for warmer days ahead!

If you're looking for a lamb for the upcoming fair/ show season hit us up!

It’s time to start thinking about summer lamb projects!

With several families already reaching out, I wanted to share some information for parents and youth who may be interested in purchasing a lamb from us this year.

Our goal is to help exhibitors be successful and confident throughout their project, not just on purchase day.

What comes with a lamb purchased from us:

- Ongoing support, including:

***Feed recommendations and guidance

***Showmanship help and tips

***Shearing your lamb before the fair

Whether this is your first lamb or you're are a seasoned exhibitor, we are happy to help every step of the way.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

If you plan to purchase a lamb from us this year, please let me know by the end of February so I can ensure there are enough lambs available for everyone.

Built-in winter coats, a rumen that doubles as a furnace, and that “I’ll just keep chewing” attitude—cows are about as no-nonsense as it gets. As long as they’ve got feed, water, and a windbreak, they just hunker down and ride it out like champs.

The new year is off to a strong start!

Last spring this cow went down for nearly a week. In most cases, cattle don’t recover after being down that long. But with some extra care — and a whole lot of determination on her part — she surprised us all by getting up on her own and making a full recovery.

Tonight while I was out feeding, I found this heifer calf at her side — the perfect ending to her comeback story.

Agriculture has its challenges, but moments like this make it all worth it.
