Potatoes in a crate from start to finish. It took about 2 crates per meal but the crate method does work.
A couple tips from our experience I would like to share.
Don’t stack the crates, there isn’t enough airflow and there gets to be a moldy layer.
Straw on the top helps distribute the water more evenly and helps with moisture.

I had one of the cutest little garden helpers yesterday. We picked a bucket of cucumbers that we turned into pickles and he picked a Mr. Stripy tomato that was almost as big as his head lol.
