Here is a quick video on how I made this upcycled brooder. Make sure you close all caps so your chicks don’t slip through. It’s also important to use a heat plate or take the middle shelf out if you plan on using one so the heat lamp isn’t close to the chicks. I also added a piece of wood on the edges to keep the hay in but I made them easy to remove for cleaning days. Everyone’s builds would vary depending on the piece your using. The purpose of this brooder was to use what I had around me without having to purchase expensive materials. Happy up cycling. 💕
