Late post! The ladies second night in the new coop. We did lose one chicken little after we separated her so everyone got some electrolytes just in case. It has been fairly hot.

The littles are growing so fast! Our Mallard, that is taking care of the littles, has a hurt foot🤦🏾‍♀️. There is always something 🤣🤣😅. No bumble foot, injury, or any obvious sign why she would be limping!

The Ducktales will follow you and hunt you down for treats!!!! Our first set of ducks were so skiddish(the land supervisors) that this was welcomed behavior! Now, I feel like I have to walk around with treats in my pockets🤣🤣

We needed a higher protein food for our turkeys poults and wanted to try buying in bulk. They eat sooo much food! Rigby built this contraption so we could get a 1/2 ton at a time. Its been working very well. We would like to get our chicken food this way but will only sell it by the ton! Which is too much for us right now.

The new coop is finally done! Converting rhe duck coop to a chicken coop was more work than expected of course! The new little first night in the coop. Now we start training to go in at night with the automatic door and come out in the morning! I may put some of the OG girls in with them to help! HenGear Rollout Nest Boxes

Today's episode of Ducktales. Apparently any task that does not require the help of ducks, they come anyway and demand attention. Just a brooder cleaning day and bam! Now there's a splash party🤦🏾‍♀️
