One thing that's great about having a child that loves Japanese culture is that we get homemade Japanese food regularly since that's what he wants to make for dinner. Greg's first duty station was in Japan and Janice spent her first couple of years of life in Japan due to her dad's Navy career so we love it as well. Tonight's dinner is tempura and it's GOOD.

Nothing like coming home from an appt and stop at the store to the smell of dinner being close to cooked by your 10yo (with help from one of his big sisters. Everything was cut and the chicken cooked before we left). Creamed chicken (from the More with Less recipe book) over mashed potatoes with a side of sweet and sour red cabbage. It's not done yet but it smells delicious. I'll try to remember to put a Pic in the comments when is done).

Fri-shrimp and veggie tempura by G1
Sat-chicken turnovers with a veggie to be determined J3
Sun-steak fajitas by J2

Several of the recipes are from a cookbook called More with Less that we bought years ago and have used on and off.
