Came out of retirement to make some chicken cakes for my daughter’s birthday! I took a long pause in cake baking because things got too chaotic with two littles running around my feet, but it sure was fun to get back into it with these!

The large cake is vanilla with cookie butter frosting/filling, and yes it was delicious.

Ok y’all. Probably my favorite cake hands down. For my dad’s birthday I planned on making him an Astros cake, and I normally do cakes at night when the girls are asleep.. but I procrastinated. I was getting so frustrated trying to decorate the cake while my 2 year old was awake and I kept making mistakes.. so I decided to nix the original idea and just let my daughter paint a cake for Grandad. He was very pleased with the end results.. and didn’t mind the little hands all over the cake. 🫢

What-a-cake! This two tiered lady was dropped off at a whataburger today to celebrate an employee whose worked there for 50 years. Amazing!

Top tier is carrot cake, bottom is vanilla. 😋
