Southern View BBQ Causal catering for any event. Growing up 3rd generation Floridian, BBQ and outdoor cooking became an early passion.

With strong influences from my southern roots mixed with the tropical flavors of the Caribbean surrounding me, I began early to develop an obsession for these flavors and cooking styles. Later after 25 plus years as a professional firefighter here in south Florida, using my brother and sister firefighters as my test kitchen judges, I found myself BBQing for the fire department, charity events, fri

ends parties and family gatherings. With the encouragement from friends and my love to see people's reaction to delicious BBQ, Southern View BBQ was born. With unique Florida flavors and real wood, slow smoked meats plus as much attention paid to accompanying dishes as the main course, you too can enjoy the flavors of south Florida with your family and friends or professional gatherings. Nearly 70 boats thus far as we're a week away from the captain's meeting for the 14th annual BBFBA Fishing Tournament and Firehouse Chili Cook-Off!

Remember, early registration closes March 31 at midnight – after that, registration swells to $300.00.

With over $10,000.00 of prize money we have added an “Aggregate” division this year in memory of Phil Oxendine, a fallen BBFRD firefighter and tireless volunteer of this tournament, with a $1,000 prize to the winner!

We hope to see you at the Captain's Meeting on April 4th and tournament day, April 6th!

Breeze into Boynton and join us for the 11th Annual Boynton Beach Firefighter Fishing Tournament and Firehouse Chili Cook-off! There will be a BBQ, raffle prizes, music, a chili competition, children’s activities and a variety of vendors! Don’t miss our fish weigh-in and cash prize giveaway! Brassy captains, lady anglers and giddy kids will be competing for over $10,000.00 in cash and prizes for the largest kingfish, dolphin and wahoo! We welcome any and all those willing to try their luck at un-spooling the winners from the top categories of last year’s tournament! Captain's meeting April 21, 2016 at Boynton Beach Bru's Room! Our charity this year is the Boynton Beach Kiwanis Club!

Fun starts at 5pm, see you there!
