It's THAT time of year again.

Remember this is strictly VOLUNTEER!
Time to start thinking of feeding our :
Needy Families, Disabled Veterans, Elderly, Shut Ins, Struggling Single Mom's & Dads.
For Thanksgiving and making the Complete Meal Boxes
I cover anyone from Portage, Lake Station, Valparaiso, Gary, Griffith, Highland, Hobart etc.
If you know me...
I have been doing this a long time and started with feeding 5 families and with everyone's generous donations was able to feed 25 families the past few years.
Depending on donations is what and how I determine the amount and if there is extra I always have a waitlist to make more boxes
It costs me about 800.00 for 20 families so with added 5 will be around 1000.00.
I shop ALL the sales and make multiple trips to several different stores to makes sure I get the best deals and bang for our buck!
I do Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter Boxes & Book Bag/Supply drives.
So once Thanksgiving is over the following I start with Christmas Donations.
I have been Blessed with wonderful friends and colleagues , neighbors who contribute yearly and I couldn't do it without you!
One thing I can't stand is a hungry family or individual or because they can't get out and have a good meal or on a fixed income..everyone is deserving.
That being said...
Let's feed 25 families this year!!
IF you would like to purchase or go in together and purchase all the Turkeys, Beans or , Potatoes or Stuffings etc you may do it that way as well.
I just need to know as not to purchase those items and you are committing to that purchase.

My goal is to have boxes filled and distributed the weekend before Thanksgiving as my hopes are to be making less stress this year for Thanksgiving for myself and having that done ahead of time
So all Items, Monies, Giftcards etc to me by November 15th for shopping, filling and pickup on Saturday November 21st the for the recipients.
Below are items I buy for the boxes and now just add 5 for our goal!

25 Turkeys
25 Large Turkey Pans
50 Stuffings
25 Butter or Margarine
25 Warm & Serve Rolls
25 Packages of Marshmallows
25 Crispy Onions
50 Packets or jars of Turkey Gravy
50 Packages of Any Flavor Jello
20 Large Boxes of Mashed Potatoes
50 Cans of Cut Green Beans
50 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
25 Packages of Pie Crust or Premade Crusts
25 Cans of Any Kind Pie Filling large cans
50 Koolaid Packets or 25 Canisters
Menards GC for 25 boxes.
However, to those who wanted the AMAZON Wishlist created for some of the items for boxes to be shipped directly to me I will post this after this post each day.
If you choose this option (and it states for each item how many cases of what is needed)
I will take off the list when it is purchased.
