Praying for an uneventful night but the chances of tornados are decent here in southwest michigan. Not only that but an over night storm at that. Hope everyone stays safe out there.

Bless and have a great night 🫶🏼

For the people who homestead with rabbits. Do you guys sell the manure for garden fertilizer? 🧐

Decided that come this year a little change is going to be happening for my egg cartons to make them more personal. All I can say is I am obsessed with this tiny printer.

Please check on your farmer friends.
And if you pray… pray for warmer temps.

Negative temperatures don’t just mean “it’s cold.” They mean exhaustion, stress, and non-stop worry for the people caring for animals and food right now.

When it’s below zero, everything takes longer and costs more.

Water lines freeze. Buckets ice over within minutes. Hoses won’t cooperate. Equipment doesn’t start. Doors freeze shut. Gloves get soaked and then your hands go numb anyway.

Livestock still need to eat.
They still need fresh water.
They still need bedding, checks, and care — even when the wind cuts through every layer you own.

Animals burn more calories just to stay warm, so feed usage goes way up. Milk production drops. Stress goes up. One small mistake in these temps can turn into a big problem fast.
And farmers?

They’re outside before daylight. After dark. In the wind. In the snow. In the negative temps. Doing the work anyway — because animals don’t get snow days.

So if you know a farmer: • Send a text even if they say no, it feels good to know people care!
• Offer help
• Bring coffee
• Share their posts
• Buy local food
• Say a prayer

This kind of cold hits hard — physically, financially, and emotionally.
We’re tough, but we’re human.
And we’re praying for warmer days too. 🤍🐄❄️
