Anyone else having issues getting grass hay from out of state right now?
I’ve been dealing with 3 west coast freight brokers for a week now. Dry vans have raised their prices from $1400 to $2000 to come into California Valley right now. The other ones aren’t even entertaining it right now. The Oregon market has been on standstill for 2 weeks. I’ve had 3 feed stores in the area call me asking for grass hay. I’m going to keep trying and trying until I get my loads but it doesn’t look like it will happen in the timeframe I need! 😤😤
