Is beekeeping hard? Absolutely. It’s far more work than most people realize.

But for me, the greatest reward isn’t the incredible honey, the extra pollination in my garden, or even getting to spend time doing something I love.
The best reward is the memories I get to make with my kids.

Watching them learn about bees, build confidence, and overcome their fears is something truly special. Lakey was scared of the bees for so long, but now she suits up and comes out to the hives with me. Seeing her face those fears and embrace the adventure has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Beekeeping has given us more than honey—it has given us experiences, lessons, and memories that will last a lifetime. And to me, that’s the sweetest reward of all. 🐝💛
