Sorry that I've been MIA. We are getting ready to put our house on the market to buy our dream farm. The girls are doing great adapting to their new shed. We will be taking the goats to several fairs over the summer and they are so excited to meet all of the people who love and support them.

Happy 1st Birthday to our sweet Dahlia 🌸

It’s hard to believe this shy little girl is the same one who came to us so quiet and unsure. Watching her come out of her shell has been the sweetest thing. Now she’s full of personality (equal parts silly and snuggly). She always makes us smile with her funny little personality.

She truly lives up to her name in every way beautiful, gentle, and just a little bit extra in the best way.

We are so incredibly thankful to Heather Neidt at Neidt and Day Farm for trusting us with her, especially since she was meant to be retained. That means more to us than you know.

Dahlia, you are so loved. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!!

Daisy and Dahlia had some outside time today while Mom cleaned their stall in the house. I think they are excited for Spring!

Today Oopsie Daisy turns 1!! It's been a long road to get here. Some days I wasn't sure we would. Happy birthday to the girl who captured all our hearts 🩷

We just left Tufts with Daisy. Mostly good news, so I'll start there. Her bone is growing back. He removed all but 1 screw from her leg (That one is staying forever). She got her cast off & he even did something cool with it where he cut the cast to make a splint. She will be in this splint for 2 more weeks. He said she looks really good and the infection is finally gone.

Bad news now...because she has been in a cast since Sept & broke her leg in August she hasn't put weight on that bone so it's starting to deteriorate. If you look at the X-ray you can see 4 small holes in her lower leg. He is hopeful that getting the cast off her and working with her to use that leg the bone will start to strengthen up again. This has been a long expensive journey with my girl, but she is a fighter.
