It's crazy to think that all I have left in the grow out pens are all the last Oakie sons we will have. We kept 2 of his daughters early on so we still have his bloodlines but this is the last chance for goldens. Message me for info! ✈️

Word of the day is Purdy... actually the word of the day should be safety. We found a way to keep the last 3 babies Purdy has left safe from the darn snake I still have not found, any recommendations on keeping them away from my chicken yard would be very appreciated 😂

Bonnet start hatching out her babies yesterday. This little cutie wanted to play peek-a-boo around its mommas wing and barely give me a look at first. By the end of the day I for sure saw 2 little ones! Hopefully it's a good hatch for her with this crazy weather we are having.

I love learning the random habits these little chickens have. It's crazy how they seem to know which eggs are duds and already kick them out right before babies start hatching. What are some fun or interesting habits your little birds have?

I've been taking some time today to be thankful for the work I get to put into this hobby. Not many are blessed to have a lifestyle that lets them have these cool little birds. So when this Texas humidity reaches 1000% I need to remember that lol. Happy Sunday yall!

These little roosters had the biggest change I noticed after being away for a week. They have gotten so much color and shine. I am kinda obsessed. They are ready to travel, message for details. Located in Poth, Tx. ✈️

These 2 will be the last of to hatch out of our Oakie. I am happy we kept 2 of his daughters so we will still have his bloodlines but these 2 and the 3 grow out roosters are the last chance at his sons. Message for details! Located in Poth, Tx

Last week was a rough one for us. Not only did we lose Oakie, we lost our dog the very next day. So I took the week to myself and focused on everything but social media. Saturday night I was doing a nightly check and heard the sweetest little chirps. Purdy surprised us a few days early with these cuties. I am always thankful and happy with new babies!
