This hatch has been a bit eventful for Star. The first day she hatched 3 cute, healthy little ones and I thought she was done. That night we found a snake eating the last one, all 3 were gone. After taking care of the snake my niece and I had hoped she would go back to sitting on the last 2 eggs. Our hope came true because I found these two cuties the next evening when I came home from work!

These pullets are bringing the girl power to the coops right now. Message for info on any of these or any other grow outs I have posted lately. Hopefully weather is changing and shipping is an option. Located in Poth, Tx

Life has been insane around here. Summer was rough with the heat, work, and all other things life brings along. So this summer we focused on just growing out the babies we had that snakes didn't eat this year. For the first time we have older grow outs to offer, even pullets. Message for details!

It's been a little crazy around here lately with so many grow outs around the place lately. We have so many little attitudes coming out to play making for some chaos, I am ready for cooler weather so we can open up some shipping dates. For now we get to watch the little ones act like tough guys until they find new coops to run. They are ready for local pick up until weather is nicer.

This was the perfect way to end a chaotic Monday. Both Bonnet and Flower decided they would start hatching out their babies a few days early. I will never get tired of the excitement of new baby chicks!

Lately it's been crazy work hours for me, which means late night checks then heading straight to bed when I get home. That was supposed to be the game plan last night, instead I had a game of hide n seek with a cute little pullet that decided she wanted to scare me a little. It's never a dull moment with these little birds.

It's not very often we have a group of pullets in the coops. Right now we have at least 6! I think I put 2 more out from the brooder box this morning. I'm excited to see how these ones grow while I can, it's been a boys club around here so it's nice to change it up!

06/25/2026

These little ones are ready to take over the bigger brooder box after the others got moved to a grow out coop. Everyone is enjoying more room to grow and move.

The latest batch of brooder babies got to explore their grow out coop for the first time last night. Safe to say they love their new coop. I am loving the newest color to our coops!
