💥💥BULK FREEZER BEEF💥💥
Are you needing freezer beef? It will be ready to be picked first of March! It will be processed at Magros in Springfield.
You will walk through the cuts that you want with the Magros & they are extremely helpful. My favorite cut is to turn top sirloin and round steak into fajita strips.
Here's the beef: this amount will vary -- a lot -- depending on how big a steer you are getting, and how you get your meat cut. When you order a quarter, the locker will call you and ask how you want different cuts, like how big do you want a roast, or how thick do you want steaks. If you want things like Cube Steak, Swiss Steak, Round Steak, Ribs. If you get a lot of cuts, your amount of hamburger will go down. They ask questions, and you answer, it's pretty simple. Meat hangs at the locker for around 10 - 14 days before it's cut, vacuum sealed, and frozen.
Keep in mind that it's an animal and every one is different.
You should budget somewhere in the neighborhood of $400-$500 for a quarter beef for the meat itself, then about $200 processing on top of that. Again, this all varies, but should be around 80-100 pounds of take home meat.
The thing to remember is that buying beef direct means you get great quality -- ours is Angus beef, corn fed, and never given any hormones, etc. You know where it came from & is LOCAL.
