A big thank you to whomever stopped late last night and let us know we had a calf out. Thankfully we were able to get him back in quickly as a black calf on a dark night is hard to see if you’re driving. Apparently our fencer got hit by lightening so thankfully we have Lawton Electric Company close by. 99.9% of the herd were honest cows and stayed in despite there not being power on the fence but there’s always that one 🤦🏻‍♀️. For now they’re all enjoying the shade of the bed pack barn so hopefully no trouble tonight 😂

We are so thankful each day we go in the barn and this little old guy is still alive and ready for another day to taste ...

Thankful for cows that enjoy harvesting their own meals in the summer so we can make hay for winter 🐮 🚜
