We will have our rabbits available for purchase this Saturday! Come check us out at the "Chicken Swap" located right outside Tractor Supply in Powhatan from 9 to 3.
We have some available that are right at 8 weeks old, just old enough to leave the litter and become someone's new pet! Beautiful colors.... we have some blonde in color, one fawn colored, and some black ones too. We will also have some just about done growing at 16 weeks old. These are speckled black and whites and some black.
*** For anyone interested in trying rabbit meat, we have rabbits ready now and at their prime for best meat production. Legally we cannot sell any rabbit meat since they are not considered livestock, but we can sell the rabbits. If you have never dispatched one for meat, we will be glad to help educate you! Our method is a quick, simple, and the least stressful way for the rabbit as well.
I am so passionate about raising meat rabbits because it's all around good for you and your family! It's a much healthier food choice, a more self sustaining food source, and also cost efficient.
