We've got great egg production going again. The newest batch of chicks from a local breeder and a hatchery have moved into a large brooder and the ducks and geese are growing quickly. We've discovered along with our paint frizzls silkie we've got a frizzle polish! All good things!

It's been quite awhile since we've posted, mostly just life getting in the way. Job changes, home schooling, low egg production, just life in general lol. We're trying to get back into posting more again. Hopefully twice a week at least. So, first of those updates, new chick/duck/ gosling pictures!!

Its been a hot minute since we've posted. Life has been busy! Sent one of Caseys boys off to Army basic training, school has started. We've got a senior and a 1st grader, both of which are doing an online charter school this year. Our youngest has been officially diagnosed with adhd-c which is a bit nuts in itself .life has just been off the charts! Egg production has been slow both because of the heat and of course the summer molting. The big hens, 15 total, are laying 2 maybe 3 eggs a day. The pullets, 26, have not started laying yet but should any time. But, our ducks are now laying! Ive never eaten duck eggs so im definitely looking forward to that! We will definitely try to update more!

On the Friday before memorial day, we welcomed a couple new creatures to CJ Squared Ranch. They both came from a local rescue. They're here on trial but its unlikely they're leaving. Daisy is the smaller horse with dark mane and tail and will be Jelas learning horse. Old Man is the red horse with white socks. Hes old but hes a good boy
