2026 foals were all dewormed again last weekend and tail hair pulled for registration.
We still have a few c**ts left to choose from. As soon as I get results back for Gem's filly we'll decide if she's also available.

If you are looking for a good 'cow bred' stallion or gelding prospect, here ya go!! Either of these (2) two year olds are ready to ride and/or ready to breed in the spring. Neither of these c**ts have seen a mare since they were weaned, so they should easily adapt to being a riding gelding, if that fits your needs better. It would be a shame to geld either one, considering their conformation, disposition, and pedigree, but geldings do tend to have a better life. We do have plans to get them started under saddle in October, if they are still here.

The dun tobiano c**t is double homozygous. Sire is Pepsis Color Master. He is incredibly sweet and friendly (as you'd expect from a Pepsi foal). His dam is a daughter of Strait GunsmokinSugar (by Strait From Texas) out of a dtr of Holidoc. As you might expect from his pedigree, this c**t is quick and catty. He easily outmaneuvers his herd mates as they play in the pastures (where they live 24/7). Mature 14.3? 6 panel negative through parentage.

The blue roan tobiano is also homozygous, but in a different way. A roan tobiano will ALWAYS throw either the roan or the tobiano gene, so foals are guaranteed to be (at least) either roan or tobiano. Additional color markings depend on the mare. This boy is also quiet and friendly. He'll end up closer to 15 or 15.1 and VERY stout? Also 6 panel negative through parentage.

Here's a quick update on foals still available. My next round of chemo in 2 days, so you can probably expect me to disappear again for at least the next week.

These are ALL COLTS. We have Gem's filly not spoken for, but I haven't pulled tail hair, so can't price her yet. All other fillies have either been sold, or I am expecting payment this week.

We have 2 sons of Steady Smoking Guns: Palomino overo c**t is BOTH sw1 and sw2, dam is dtr Ris Key Business, he appears to be deaf. The sorrel tovero c**t is SW2 and tobiano, dam is dtr QTsGold MasterCard, hearing is good.

We have a black tovero c**t (tobiano and Splash White) son of DP Gunnaoutshinya o/o dtr Ris Key Business

We have a dble hz grullo tobiano c**t by a son of Gay Bar Drummer (o/o Tru Rolex dtr) out of a Ris Key Business and QT Poco Streke bred mare.

We have a black tobiano c**t by No Risk (son of Ris Key Business o/o dtr Shots Flying Spark). Dam is a daughter of leading sire ALL TIME FANCY.

Looks like the babies are starting to shed their foal coats.
Maybe next week I'll be able to get to the back pasture where the rest of the foals are so I can get a few updated photos. Mike's doing a great job, but it's driving me crazy that I haven't been able to see them for so many weeks!!
This pair is in the barn during the day due to some sun sensitivity (mostly just the dam's face, but junior is peeling a bit over his shoulders as well.)

I think my bald faced babies (Palomino is sw1 and sw2, sorrel is sw2 and tobiano); have the routine figured out! Just have the gate open by 10 am, and then wait for them to 'self load'. Open the gate after 2 pm and the process reverses.
Both are sons of the - now deceased - outstanding stallion Steady Smoking Guns (By Colonels Smoking Gun) out of daughters of World Champions. (RIS KEY BUSINESS and QTSGOLD MASTERCARD)
