This past weekend we had the opportunity to host community members, our “Birdseed Barn” was one of six stops on a historic barn tour of Preble County.

The barn dates back to the 1850s, it was used initially for hay storage, but over the years has been used for seed cleaning as well as birdseed production. The attached video has some further details provided by Len and Alan Vonderhaar.

First day getting some corn in the ground. We are DRY in southern Ohio, no-till ground is throwing up dust like it was just hit with a cultivator. Hopefully this isn’t a sign of the weather yet to come this year. 🌽🚜☀️
