🍂 FRIDAY AT THE FARM SHOP! 🍂

We’re officially getting down to the wire on our fall flower season! This might be our LAST Fall Farm Shop weekend — I’m giving us about a 50/50 shot at next weekend 🙃 We’ll see what the fields do this coming week and keep you posted!

For now, the Mixed Bouquets are looking GORGEOUS and packed with all the late-fall goodness — heirloom mums, marigolds, celosia, eucalyptus + some of the very last dahlias of the season tucked in 💐🍂

And a fun one this week: Pumpkins on a Stick! 🎃 They’re technically a type of eggplant, but look like the cutest little mini pumpkins growing right on the stem!

We had SO much going on yesterday that I completely forgot to take my usual bouquet subscription video 🙃 So, pretty pictures it is this week!

We’re definitely starting to see that end-of-season shift in the bouquets — the dahlias are slowing down, our heirloom mums are making their debut, and lots of fun textural late-fall goodies are taking their place.

I love watching the bouquets change right along with the season 🌸🍂

Introducing a new little series: DAHLIAS — STAYING OR GOING? 🌸👋

Because every year, some dahlias earn their spot in the field for another season… but some get the BOOT 🥾

And people are always AGHAST when I tell them I actually get rid of varieties 🙃 Because yes, she might be pretty… but pretty only gets you so far around here. Every plant in the field has to pull its weight when it comes to cut production.

So I’m taking you through the field variety by variety — who’s staying, who’s going, and WHY.

First up on the chopping block:
Marshmallow Baby, Salmon Runner, Holly Hill Black Beauty, Feline Yvonne & Maarn… who will make the cut?! (que dramatic music 😱🎶)
