Its that time of year again. Gtowouts are hitting the pasture from our breeding program. This generation has brought an interesting set of twists, turns, and colors, but we are happy to get them out and watch them take off with the green grass under their feet.

Honestly this time of the year is my favorite. We get to see the outcome of our last years hard work breeding, rearing, culling, and selecting those lucky few that get to be the parents of the next generation. One thing I have come to love with our Aquilas is they aren't a recognized breed. That means NO standard to adhere to. They are what we want them to be. Colorful, productive, and unpredictable lol. As we welcome our 4th generation it seems a red gene has arisen again and is producing some interesting colors. Can't wait to see what they mature in to.

Welcome to the world, little ones!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our second batch of Aquila chicks has officially hatched. We are welcoming 27 new additions to the world!
Each of these little ones already has big aspirations of growing strong and eventually becoming a part of our breeding program.
We are so proud to watch them take their first steps and can’t wait to share their journey with all of you. Stay tuned for updates as they grow! 🐣✨

The wait is finally over! 🐣 The brooder is buzzing and our first hatch of the 2026 season has officially arrived at Crescent Acres Poultry.

There is nothing like the sound of these tiny chirps to signal that spring is on the way. We’ve got a great mix of fluffy newcomers this year, all from our Aquila breeding program. Each one is settled in, staying warm, and already figured out where the snacks are!
We are so excited to see these little ones grow and to share the journey of this season with you all. Stay tuned for plenty of updates as they feather out!
