I haven’t done one of these in a while. Trying to get back onto posting more often.

Let me introduce myself. My 35-year-old mama of three. Did not grow up on a farm. My Fiancé and I are learning as we go. We bought an acre of land on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We created our homestead to grow food in our garden and raise up our meat. I am starting to dabble in herbalism, making goat cheese and sourdough.

This girl came to us breed but unfortunately she had her babies the night of this storm and record low temperatures about two weeks ago. And her babies did not make it through the snow followed by the freezing rain. We are hoping the next breeding will be successful in warmer weather.
