There is something truly special about the connection between people and animals.

Part of our mission is to spread love and light when people need it most.

Whether we're visiting a child who needs a reason to smile, celebrating a special occasion, supporting a community event, or simply creating a moment of joy during a difficult season, we witness the incredible impact that animals can have every single day.

For us, this has never been just about events. It's about creating meaningful moments, sharing joy, and reminding people that even on the hardest days, a little love can make a big difference.

Thank you all for allowing us to share our incredible joeys with you and for being part of the smiles, memories, and connections we create together. ❤️🦘

🦘 Where do red kangaroos live?

Red kangaroos are perfectly adapted to Australia's harsh outback and are found across most of the country's arid and semi-arid interior. Their range stretches through the dry grasslands, shrublands, and open plains of Western Australia, the Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales.

You'll notice they are largely absent from the wetter coastal regions and tropical forests, where other kangaroo species are better suited to the environment.

Take a look at the map to see the vast territory these incredible animals call home—it’s no wonder they’re considered the true icons of the Australian outback! 🇦🇺🦘

We’ve recently become aware of a Reddit post that is sharing misinformation about our kangaroo joey encounters. While it’s disappointing to see inaccurate information being spread, we believe the voices that matter most are those of the families, organizations, and individuals who have experienced our events firsthand.

If you’ve attended one of our encounters, we would love for you to share your honest experience in the comments below. Your stories, photos, and kind words mean more to us than you know.

We are not asking anyone to engage on Reddit or argue online. Instead, we simply ask for your support here, in this community that has helped us grow and fulfill our mission of providing enriching experiences for our kangaroos while creating joy, smiles, and lifelong memories for others.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for supporting our animals, our family, and our small business. ❤️

Friday marked our very first event with Wine & Design's Raleigh location, and it was everything we hoped it would be.

This beautiful little girl shared that "Kangaroos are my favorite animals," and watching her meet Davie was truly unforgettable. He gave her the sweetest kisses, and her joyful laughter filled the room.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a bright light during someone's dark storm and to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you, Wine & Design Raleigh, for welcoming us. We can't wait for the next event! 🦘❤️

One of the biggest misconceptions about kangaroos is that they are constantly fighting. While adult males may occasionally box to establish dominance, most boxing behavior is actually social and developmental.

Young kangaroos regularly engage in playful sparring to build strength, coordination, confidence, and important social skills. Much like children roughhousing or puppies wrestling, these interactions help them learn boundaries and develop healthy relationships within their mob.

In most cases, boxing is a natural form of play and social development rather than aggression, and is an important part of growing up kangaroo. 🦘💕

This video is of Brighton and Ryder and this is my view every single morning when I go out to feed. Both are approximately 2.5 years old and are best buds.
