Well... I think it's safe to say Popsicles & Playdate was a success! ☀️🍦🐑

We had an absolutely wonderful morning watching kiddos play, explore, meet the lambs, enjoy popsicles, and simply be kids while the grown-ups had a chance to relax and connect.

Because today was such a hit, Popsicles & Playdate is officially becoming a weekly event at Soul Ties Family Farm!

📅 Every Friday
⏰ 10:00 AM

We created this event to be simple, affordable, and fun—a place where families can get outside, enjoy fresh air, make memories, and spend time with some pretty adorable farm animals.

Some Fridays may include special activities, but the goal will always be the same: giving kids room to play and giving grown-ups a chance to slow down for a little while.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Popsicles & Playdate. Your support means the world to us, and we can't wait to make Friday mornings on the farm a tradition.

Who will we see next Friday? ❤️🍦☀️

PS- I was too busy having fun to take pictures. If you happened to snap some, we'd love to see them so please share them below! I did happen to get a video of bringing the lambs over to the pen from the pasture at grandmas, though. Its pretty cute!

Well... apparently walking a dog is a dangerous activity now. 🙄

Last night Grizz and I were enjoying a nice peaceful walk when I stepped in a hole. Not a little hole. Not a "whoops, that was awkward" hole. The kind of hole that makes you immediately question all of your life choices.

My foot and ankle made enough cracking and popping noises that I briefly considered whether I had just unlocked a new talent.

Being the reasonable person that I am, I did what any farm girl would do:I sat down for a minute, said a few words that aren't appropriate for Facebook, and convinced myself I'd be fine.

Spoiler alert: I was not fine. I tried to get up and walk home and could not, so I did what any reasonable person would do. I pushed through the embarrassment and called Grandma Amy for help.

But can we talk about Grizz for a minute?

When I went down, I scared the life out of him. This sweet boy could have panicked, could have taken off, could have turned the whole thing into an even bigger mess.

Instead, he never left my side.

He laid down right on top of me—full Chesapeake weight—as if he had personally decided I wasn't allowed to move until help arrived. (Thank God for Grandma Amy!)

When Grandma Amy got there, he refused to get into the Ranger until I was safely in first. Once we started back toward the house, he laid his sweet head in my lap and looked up at me with those perfect amber eyes the entire ride home.

We've only had Grizz for a short time, but in that moment I saw exactly who he is.

A good boy.A loyal boy.The kind of dog who stays. He's 12/10 the goodest boy and he has my back!

So today I'm headed to the ortho walk-in clinic to find out whether I sprained it, broke it, or simply offended the ankle gods.

But no matter what they tell me, one thing is for certain:

Grizz passed every test that mattered.

And if anyone needs me, I'll be over here trying to explain to him that laying on his injured human is not actually first aid, but it is, in fact, the most comforting thing he could have done in that moment. ❤️🐾

Feel free to place your bets below:A) SprainB) FractureC) Dramatic farm girl syndromeD) All of the above

Grizz is such a happy boy! Thanks to Daddy for mowing our walking path last night!

It's official... Grizz is a Momma's boy! ❤️🐾

So far this morning, we've played in the yard with Lilly and Nova, enjoyed breakfast, and taken a walk around the farm. Now he's curled up right next to Momma while I enjoy my morning coffee.

I'd say he's settling in pretty well. 🥰

Don't forget—we have Sunday Farm Tours today at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM! There are still a few spots available.

Come spend some time in the fresh country air, meet CoCo, Rodeo, the lambs, and the rest of the farm crew, and enjoy a little slice of country life with us.

💲 $10 per person

Send us a message to reserve your spot—we'd love to see you!
