🥔🐾 PUPDATE: 3 WEEKS + 2 DAYS! 🐾🥔

Momma is a little late with this week's Pupdate... again. 😂 But the baked potatoes are officially 3 weeks and 2 days old, and apparently we've entered a whole new era.

THE POTATOES HAVE LEARNED HOW TO ESCAPE THE BIN. 🚨🥔🚨

Yep. They have discovered that those chunky little legs can, in fact, take them places — and they have collectively decided that roaming around the bedroom is MUCH more exciting than staying where Momma put them. 🤦‍♀️😂

Their individual personalities are really starting to come out, they're definitely not afraid to use their voices, and they've started playing and wrestling with each other. Watching them figure out how to actually puppy has been hilarious.

They're curious. They're vocal. They're mobile.

And apparently... containment is now merely a suggestion. 🤣

Every day they get a little braver, a little more mischievous, and somehow even sweeter.

The baked potato stage is quickly turning into FREE-RANGE POTATOES. 🥔💨🐾

Send help. Or a taller potato bin. 😂

🎨🐑 Musical Canvas in the Pasture: Private Party Edition! 🐑🎨

We had a private group join us Sunday for a little creativity, a lot of laughter, and — apparently — a pasture full of very opinionated art critics. 😂

The lamb chops were feeling EXTRA mischievous and decided they needed to inspect, sniff, and taste-test just about everything. Paint supplies? Interesting. 👀 Brushes? Possibly delicious. 🤔 Your personal space? Absolutely not. 😂🐑

And honestly… that’s part of the magic.

There’s just something about creating art outside, surrounded by animals, laughing with your people, and never quite knowing what kind of farm shenanigans are going to happen next. ❤️

Thank you to this awesome group for spending part of your Sunday with us! We had an absolute BLAST!

🐾🥔 PUPDATE — TWO WEEKS OLD! 🥔🐾

Okay… Grammy is a little late with this week’s Pupdate. 😅 But the baby baked potatoes are officially TWO WEEKS OLD! 🎉

And y’all… they are starting to become actual tiny dogs instead of potatoes with feet. 😂

👀 They’ve opened their eyes and are showing off the sweetest little baby blues 💙
🐾 They’re discovering that those four little things attached to them are actually LEGS… although they haven’t quite figured out how to operate them gracefully yet. 🤣
📣 And apparently they’ve also discovered that they have VOICES — and they are NOT afraid to use them!

There’s lots of wobbling, squeaking, grumbling, crawling over siblings, and dramatically announcing when something isn’t going exactly according to plan. 😂

Momma Lilly is still doing an amazing job keeping everybody fed, clean, warm, and VERY chunky. ❤️

It’s crazy how much they change in just one week. Last week they were basically little baked potatoes that ate and slept… and now we’re starting to see tiny personalities peek through. 🥹

Next stop: walking, playing, and TOTAL CHAOS. 😬🤣

Apparently I have officially reached the level of “crazy animal lady” where nobody can tell when I’m joking anymore. 🤣🤣🤣

Let me set the scene…

Papa Bear gets his milk in these nice glass jugs. When they’re empty, we wash them out, refill them with water, and keep them in the fridge.

Nick noticed there was a new empty jug sitting on the counter and said something about it. Grandma Amy goes, “That’s a new one. If you guys need it, take it. Otherwise I’ll just throw it away.”

Without missing a beat—and with the most serious face I could possibly muster—I said:

“Well… CoCo actually prefers water out of glass. She’d probably really appreciate it if we started bringing her water to Tanner’s in the glass jugs instead of those plastic ones we’ve been using.”

Y’ALL. 😭🤣

Grandma Amy just stared at me.

Then, completely exasperated, she goes…

“Seriously?! You have GOT to be kidding me.”

SHE BELIEVED ME. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I lost it.

“I AM KIDDING! I’M MESSING WITH YOU!”

But that might actually be the funniest part of the whole thing.

This woman knows me. She knows how absolutely ridiculous I am about my animals. And apparently “CoCo prefers her water served from glass” was not even remotely outside the realm of possibility. 😂

And honestly?

If CoCo ever DOES indicate that her water tastes better from a glass jug…

Mind your business.
