Here at Bonny Bunny Burrow at Heartstone Acres LLC, we run a small family Rabbitry and Farm. We raise Pedigreeed Holland Lops following ARBA SOP for type and breed as well as show, brood and pet quality. We also raise a variety of other small farm animals that are available throughout the year.
Due to the nature of protecting our animals, we are a strictly CLOSED Rabbitry to the public. You are NOT able to visit before picking up your bunny. We understand this may be disheartening to some people but the safety of our family and our rabbits always comes first. We are happy to provide pics and videos and updates!
We list all available bunnies on our website and social media as they become available or to reserve or purchase. Once they are listed on our website, they are listed with a RESERVATION DEPOSIT amount. This amount is 1/2 (50%) of the full purchase price of the bunny. The remainder of the purchase price is to be paid at pick up, transport or delivery.
We breed different lines of bunnies. These range from show quality and breed following ARBA standards. We have lines consisting of Tri Colored, Broken and Harlequin NON Vienna bunnies. We also have lines we breed that are VC/VM for type and breed. Each line and each individual bunny may be listed at a different price or listed just as a pet with no pedigree. This at our discretion and prices will reflect this.
Each bunny listed on our website is available usually at 8 weeks or between 8-10 Weeks of age at our discretion. A bunny can be reserved with a NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit. This Deposit goes towards full purchase price, reserves the bunny until they become the appropriate age or a discussed and agreed upon time frame for pick up with transport being scheduled and confirmed.
If you file a dispute for payment for a reserved bunny, we will adhere to our purchase policy and any deposit you placed will be FORFEITED.
A bunny held with deposit will NOT be released if pick up / transport solutions are not handled in an appropriate manner and time frame. This time frame is specified BEFORE deposit is made. We agree to hold a bunny for up to 21 days for no fee with scheduled transport confirmation. A bunny reserved will be held no longer that agreed upon pick up / transport. Transported bunnies are agreed that although being held for transport, they will still need to be paid in full as soon as transport for your bunny starts.
In an unforeseen circumstance that something happens to a reserved bunny while still in our care, due to injury, illness or death, before they leave our rabbitry, a refund will be provided in FULL to the manner of payment provided for deposit.
We DO NOT provide a Health Guarantee for a bunny being picked up locally. We will provide you with a bunny that is healthy to the best of our knowledge. At pick up we will conduct an inspection of your bunny together to ensure there is no visible issues present. Each bunny who leaves us will leave with a large bag of transition food to make it easier in their new home in hopes of decreasing the chances of digestive issues after new placement.
We DO NOT vaccinate our bunnies.
We DO NOT offer a health guarantee for a bunny going on transport. Transport is at the buyers own risk. Although there are wonderful transport options available, transport in general can be stressful for bunnies. Reputable transports do their best and have their own policies to not transport animals with illnesses or disease but unfortunately it is not always steadfast or fool proof.
We will NOT sell a bunny to a minor without parental consent and approval for purchase deposit. We are happy to work and communicate with youth breeders but an adult needs to be the primary contact for all financial transactions and agreements for transport.
The remaining balance for your bunny, minus the deposit placed for reservation, will be due IN FULL before they leave our property. This applies for either pick up or transport. Direct to Home deliveries can be paid in full at Delivery as long as delivery fee paid before.
We DO NOT offer shipping of our bunnies. We will work with approved Transport companies. Please inquire about a transport company before you place a deposit. Any deposit made BEFORE discussing and confirming Transport will result in forfeiture of deposit.

Local Delivery applies to All of Pueblo County.
We do also offer deliveries FOR A FEE
within Colorado with 3 hours of Pueblo County!
If interested in this service, please discuss before placing deposit. The fees listed below are to be paid in FULL at the same time you place your deposit to reserve your bunny. The date for delivery is at our discretion and will be done on a weekend determined by age of your bunny.
$50 Fee applies, per rabbit, if within 1 Hour of our Rabbitry. 20% discount for multiple rabbits.
$100 Fee applies, per rabbit, if within 1-2 Hours of our Rabbitry. 30% discount for multiple rabbits.
$175 Fee applies, per rabbit, if within 2-3 Hours of our Rabbitry. 35% Discount for multiple rabbits.
Additional 8_2$50 per hour over 3 hours on a Case by Case basis discussed before deposit placed.
If you are a fellow breeder, we do reserve the FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL. Any rabbit purchased from us (in our lines or not) must be offered back to use at purchase price BEFORE being listed elsewhere. They will, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE, end up in a shelter. This specifically applies to PET HOMES or RETIREMENT HOMES. When releasing your purchsed and pedigreed rabbit to a pet home these policies MUST be followed and enforced.
We are happy to provide pictures and updates on all bunnies being reserved on a weekly basis before pick up or transport. We love what we do and dedicate a lot of time to socialization for their benefit. We are happy to answer any questions that may arise before making a deposit but most questions can be answered by reviewing these.
