I know some food pages only review a restaurant once.
Me? If it’s good every single time, I’m going to keep talking about it.
There are so many amazing spots that all of you have suggested, and trust me, I’m going to get to them. But today, my medicine was brought to you by my own neighborhood pizzeria.
I’m officially convinced I’m allergic to housework.
One minute I’m throwing something away. The next minute I can barely move my shoulder and I’m laid up in bed questioning all my life choices. The pain has me making noises every time I move, and honestly, it’s not a good look.
Thankfully, Aaron knows exactly how to handle a medical emergency.
Deep Creek Pizza.
The trip from Deep Creek to my house is roughly 6-8 miles, yet this slice arrived so hot I probably should have signed a waiver before taking a bite.
And what a bite it was.
The crust was exactly what I want in a pizza. Thin enough to fold, sturdy enough to hold up to the cheese, with just the right amount of crisp on the bottom. No flop. No sogginess. Just pizza perfection.
Now let’s talk about the cheese.
You know that cheese everyone keeps talking about that starts with a “G”? Grande? Maybe. All I know is I’m pretty sure it stands for “Good God That’s Good.” Rich, creamy, perfectly melted, and loaded with flavor. This is the kind of cheese that reminds you why cheese pizza deserves respect. No fancy toppings. No gimmicks. When the cheese is this good, it is the topping.
The sauce was balanced. The crust was on point. The cheese was phenomenal. And somehow this giant slice survived the trip while staying piping hot.
So yes, you’ve seen me talk about Deep Creek Pizza before.
And if they keep making pizza like this, you’re going to hear about them again.
Because when a place consistently delivers every single time, that’s worth talking about.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be continuing my recovery from a devastating housework-related injury. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. The treatment plan currently consists of bed rest, pizza, and avoiding all household responsibilities until further notice.
