The Wheatland Concert Series at Shiloh Manor Farm on April 2, 2022 at 8:00 pm – Shiloh Manor Farm

The Wheatland Concert Series presents, The Sonatas for Harpsichord and Flute by Johann Sebastian Bach. These airy and hauntingly beautiful pieces are performed by Professor Mark Janello on harpsichord. Dr. Janello serves on the music theory faculty at The Johns Hopkins University Peabody Institute in Baltimore and has performed with the Baltimore Symphony, the Post-Classical Ensemble, Bach Sinfonia, and the Georgetown University Chamber Singers. He is joined by flautists Christian Paquette, principal flute of the York Symphony Orchestra and the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra.

During intermission, enjoy an exquisite traditional French spring meal prepared by Chef Erik Foxx Nettnin of The Polished Foxx. Our selected menu for the evening begins with local and imported cheeses, paté and rillettes with croustades, followed by an entrée of spring lamb, dauphine potatoes and new vegetables gratin with sauce bordelaise, served with paired local wines. Dessert will be assorted French patisserie and fresh fruit, with coffee and tea. A vegetarian entrée is available upon request.

Our third chamber music recital is just under two weeks away, and we still have some tickets left! We are hosting a music recital and dinner on April 2, 2022 at 8:00 pm here Shiloh Manor Farm, featuring Professor Mark Janello on harpsichord and flautists Denis Savelyev and Christian Paquette.
