Save this for your next family trip to the Florida Keys! 🌴✈️

Here is our full itinerary! We flew nonstop from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) with Allegiant , grabbed a rental car and headed south to Islamorada!

We stayed at Cheeca Lodge & Spa and packed so much into our trip! Fishing, kayaking, swimming, a fishing charter, feeding the tarpon at Robbie’s, exploring Rain Barrel Village, stopping at Bass Pro Shops and, of course, plenty of good food + ice cream. 🎣🌊🍦

Flying direct from CAK made this trip SO easy, especially with the kids. And I love a good money-saving tip, so before you book, check this out 👇

Getting to the Florida Keys from Ohio was quick and easy ✈️ We flew direct from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Fort Lauderdale with Allegiant, grabbed our rental car and road-tripped down to Islamorada.

Here’s what we did during our trip:

🌴 Stayed at Cheeca Lodge & Spa
🎣 Went on a fishing charter
🐟 Fed the tarpon at Robbie’s
🦞 Stopped at Rain Barrel Village
🚲 Biked around the resort
🦈 Went fishing at the pier (The boys LOVED this!)
🛶 Kayaked & paddleboarded
🏊 Spent plenty of time at the pools
🌅 Watched the sunset from the pier
