Herding Smoke Barbecue is a family owned; Augusta County, Virginia and Creedmoor, North Caroline based professional barbecue cook team. Team core members include PitMasters, brothers and longtime barbecue enthusiast Kevin and Kerry Whitney. We began competing as a “Professional Team” in 2011, cooking primarily in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions – PA, VA, MD, DE, NY, NJ and CT in bot

h KCBS and NEBS contests. We have won both Grand Championships and Reserve Grand Championships in the prestigious Sam’s Club National Barbecue Tour series. We also have won numerous KCBS Competition categories in Ribs, Pork, Brisket and Chicken. Our philosophy is simple, Great Barbecue prepared with quality locally sourced sustainable ingredients.
