Good morning y’all! Here is your reminder to not be so quick to give up. The last four babies of my last hatch made their appearance this morning on day 25 making my hatch rate 100%. I now have 3 more American Bresse and an Ayam Cemani baby because I was determined to remain patient and give them a chance.

One year ago today I owned a total of 6 chickens and they were all hens when I had this crazy idea to become a farmer/homesteader and B&L Cluckers was born. Today I own more chickens than I can count, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, and quail oh my😂 I must say this past year has been a challenging adventure. We had a fire and lost chicks, had a crazy winter and lost chicks and adult birds, my husband fell and broke his leg and hurt his back, etc, ect. I’ve learned a lot and will never regret the choice I made to begin this journey because on top of everything, I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve been in a long time. Thank you to my husband Bob Richardson for supporting me with all my crazy ideas and projects. And thank you to all of my followers and customers that have supported and encouraged us.

*please help me welcome Jimmy Jay ( ermine Ameraucana) to the farm.
