Well that’s a wrap on fall calving. We finished up with a nice bull calf yesterday evening and we are absolutely impressed with the set of calves on the ground. 4 heifers 🩷 5 bulls 💙 and 1 happy ranch hand 🙋‍♀️

Morning herd checks are my absolute favorite. Everything is so peaceful and everyone is just getting up to stretch their legs. Our sweet Poppy girl gave us a Quadrant 210k heifer calf yesterday morning and I am so excited to see this gal grow!

What a morning!
We had the vet out this morning to have our does preg checked and man are we happy with the results. We had 100% conception for our girls 🎉🎉
Most of these babies will start hitting the ground in early December and roll through the whole month.

We believe nutrition is the backbone of our program, and in addition to their daily ration, these girls have been on the By-O-reg+ tubs by Advanced Ag products and we are very happy with the outcome. Not to mention, the garlic 🧄 has cut down on the fly population by a lot!

My favorite part of my morning is visiting the babies. Even better when they come running to me! 😍

With all the craziness of fair week, these two sweet girls missed their announcement! Two heifer calves born last week from heifers I bought out of the Heishman Cattle Company Blue Ridge Classic this spring. The future is bright here and we can wait to watch these girls grow!

Well it’s day….i don’t actually know, I’ve lost track. But we’re still here at the Shenandoah County Fair and tomorrow is show day for the open cattle. We got a rain here this evening and the Lord provided quite a lovely sunset 😍

I hope everyone slept as good as Peanut last night. We’re on to day 2 of the Shenandoah County Fair!

Peanut is one of a few kids bought in our spring sale that are here for the fair this week. I can’t wait to see these kids (both 2 legged 🧍‍♀️and 4 legged 🐐) in the ring!
