Attached is a copy of the flyer for the 2026 Scholarships. This year we are awarding three $1000 Scholarships and two $500 Scholarships. The deadline for applications to be postmarked is June 26th. Club Secretaries: Please send this information to your members.

ANNOUNCING THE 2026 QBRWA SCHOLARSHIP
QBRWA is pleased to announce the 2026 Scholarships. This year we will be awarding five scholarships. There will be three $1000 scholarships and two $500 scholarships.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the award you must be a member or child or grandchild of a member of one of the eight participating member yacht clubs and you must be accepted to pursue education beyond the secondary school level at an institution deemed accredited by the Scholarship Fund Committee. High school seniors and college undergraduates are eligible for the award.
Scholarship Format
This year’s scholarship will be awarded on an Essay. The essay must be 500 words or less. All essays will be submitted to the QBRWA Scholarship Committee for review. The winning essay will be announced at the QBRWA Race Week Junior Awards Ceremony.
