A little update on pop-ups and markets ❤️

A few of you have asked if I’ll be doing more pop-ups or markets at Milaeger’s. As much as I’d love to, life as a mom has made it a little difficult to fit more into my schedule right now.

The boys are getting to the age where they have games every Saturday, and I want to be there cheering them on. 🥰 At the same time, I’ve been working as a substitute teacher, which is actually in line with my educational background. I’ve always loved working with kids, and teaching is something I’m genuinely passionate about. Subbing has been a wonderful opportunity to get back into the field I love. (I LOVE baking just as much 😁)

In the meantime, you can still get your sourdough fix through my weekly preorders and home pickups, or find my goodies at the two farm stands I supply—one in Caledonia and one in Union Grove.

My only pop-up this year will be Julefest in November.28 at Danish Brotherhood Lodge #14, which I signed up for earlier this year. I hope to see some of you there!

These are sourdough pretzel buns that I made for the boys’s school snack for this week.

I dip them in a food-grade lye solution, which gives them that beautiful deep brown shine and the distinctive flavor you get from a traditional German-style pretzel.

And unlike the soft pretzels we’re used to, these aren’t brushed with butter when they come out of the oven. Just a light spritz of water to finish them off.
This… is also saying that I’m out of content ideas 💡🫥

The self-serve is open! We’re stocked with white milk and we’re down to the last of our chocolate milk! We won’t have chocolate milk until the week of 10/12. The farm store will be open again this Saturday, 9/26 from 10A-1P and we will be closed the next two Saturdays 10/3 and 10/10!
(Nothing will change with self-serve unless we are sold out.)

Little Miracles Sourdough has the self-serve stocked with delicious sourdough goods! Jalapeño cheddar bagels, Wisconsin sourdough loaf, classic sourdough, milk bread, pumpkin cinnamon rolls and more! You can’t beat Nicole’s quality and attention to detail. Her love for baking is showcased in everything she makes. Stop by and grab some goodies before they’re gone! 💨

If you are out and around Union Grove / Raymond, check out Silo View Creamery for the best milk and some fresh sourdough goodies!

It’s one of my favorite local stops, and I’m so happy to have my sourdough goodies there alongside their delicious A2 and chocolate milk.
