When we bought this old farm house in 2003, raccoons were living in it. It is a work in progress; probably always will be. It ha

s taken us a long time to frugally redo the place, and we're not done by a long shot, but we have accomplished a lot with mostly reusing what others' have discarded.The new part of the house was built almost entirely with materials acquired from the demolition of another house. My husband and I, along with several of our friends, carefully removed every nail, every electrical outlet....all a labor of love

Here at Medicine Hill, we are still planting seeds! 60 days to maturity and that puts us into the first of October, plenty of time to grow in my fall garden!

Pink green beans? You bet! Super sweet and will go great with onion and bacon in the pot! Can’t wait!

I’ve been keeping a secret.

For a while now, I’ve been building something here at Medicine Hill.
At first, I thought I was creating a business, but
I was wrong—I was creating a world.

A place where stories don’t always stay inside books, where ordinary objects can carry extraordinary meaning.
Where a package arriving at your door might contain a mystery, a little bit of magic, or some oddity you never expected.
Medicine Hill is “becoming”something more. A place that emphasizes the magic and lore that naturally exist here. From the Fairy Realm to the dark woods I’ve dubbed Blackwood Forest, there are hidden gems, solitary places, and creative shoppes birthed from the extraordinary recesses that existed only in my mind.
It’s an entire town! And it’s coming to you via cyber space.
There are shoppes that exist here you haven’t ever heard of, much less visited.
Characters live here you haven’t met. Stories exist at Medicine Hill and on the land that haven’t been told.

And soon, for the first time, I’m going to open the gates and invite you inside—virtually.
I can’t show you everything yet, but I can tell you this:

Medicine Hill is about to become much bigger than a place on a map.
