Rivu’s Annaprasana Ceremony! 🥣✨

Right after the wedding madness, it was time for another beautiful milestone—Riva’s Annaprasana! 🥣✨

In Telugu tradition, the 5th/6th month solid feeding ceremony is so special. From setting up the traditional food tray to seeing what object she picks first (books, gold, or food! 😄), it was such a memorable family moment.

Balancing back-to-back family events in the US isn't easy, but seeing these traditions carried down to the next generation makes every effort worth it. ❤️

Annaya’s Wedding Day! 💍✨ The Grand Final Episode

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! 💍✨ After staying at the Airbnb for two days and finishing the Kottanam ceremony in the morning (since we had to postpone it due to the solar eclipse), we rushed to get ready and head straight to the wedding hall! ⏳🚗

Even though the evening ceremony got a little delayed and I couldn't capture a few moments like the Edurukolu or the couple's dance, the wedding turned out absolutely beautiful! 🥹❤️

Day 2 Pellikoduku & Rakhi Rush! 💛 Eclipses, rituals, and family fun!

After the Mangala Snanam, it was a race against time! ⏳ With the eclipse and Rakhi falling on the same day, our priest advised us to finish both the Pellikoduku and Rakhi ceremonies before 6 PM — which meant wrapping up everything by noon! 😄

Despite the rush, having a quick family lunch and seeing my brother in his Pellikoduku outfit and my mom looking stunning in her saree made it all worth it. Such a memorable day full of Telugu wedding traditions and family love. 🥹💛

Mangala Snanam Reality: Missing India during family celebrations! 🌸✨

Celebrating the Mangala Snanam ceremony in the US was so special, but it definitely brought up all the emotions. 🥹❤️ While we were blessed to have our amazing friends and cousins step up to help us, there’s always that missing piece when you’re celebrating big traditions away from home and extended family.

Organizing a traditional wedding abroad for the first time came with a huge learning curve—we definitely missed a few things along the way! But every mistake was a lesson learned. Now I feel ready to help any of my NRI friends planning a wedding in the USA! 🇺🇸✈️
