Yinzer is a 20th-century term playing on the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania second-person plural vernacular "yinz." The word is used among peoples who identify themselves with the city of Pittsburgh and its traditions. Both my wife and I are from Pittsburgh originally and the city and it's sports teams are near and dear to our hearts. So when it came time to think up a name for my home brewing and maybe

brewery aspirations something Pittsburgh-esque was required. My first labels were pictures I had taken from a recent trip to Pittsburgh itself. Since then the labels have changed but most of the beer names either involve a Pittsburgh word or spelling. Fall Dahn Brown, Blitzen's A Jagoff)

Do I want to own my own craft brewery, you are damn right I do, but for now brewing beer at home and making my friends happy when they enjoy it is all I need.
