Quintessential granny snow day activity // stove top rice pudding // No egg yolk, just 3/4 c rice, 4 c whole milk, small handful of sugar and a pinch of salt. At first, it seems like it will never come together. Stir over low heat for an hourish. Yes, an entire hour seems like a long time to stir something without a break. But it will be worth it. And it will be good for you. Stand there and think about your life, reflect, meditate, whatever. I topped with toasted almonds, raisins (re-hy / plumped of course), salted butter and a TON of cinnamon 👵🏼👵🏼👵🏼💅🏽 #919
