Our first Clouds Brewing location opened its doors in August of 2014 in Downtown Raleigh, NC (126 N West St), showcasing The Downpour, a self service draft wall (currently closed due to COVID-19). In spring of 2016, we established our brewery/taproom in Midtown Raleigh (1233 Front St) and Clouds beers began to pour. From seasonal releases to our year-round varieties, Clouds beer keeps its traditional beer roots while experimenting with new, fun styles. After two years, we couldn't wait to expand our love for food and drink to a city that knows it well. Our Durham location (905 W Main St) opened in Fall of 2016, with more menu items, more taps, & more space for outings big and small.

Dart League teams, this is your sign: bring the whole squad! Our bartenders will keep an eye on your team all night, making sure your glasses stay full and your table is taken care of between throws.

Not in a league? Grab a friend, pick a board, and settle who really has the better aim. Bullseyes are encouraged. Hitting the wall is understood.

$15 gets you a full yoga class with instructor Mary Dobbs Ketterhagen as well as a pint of anything on tap! You won’t find a better morning this week, especially because our brunch starts at 11am so you can stick around and enjoy our brunch menu afterwards. 🍳🍺

Heads up Downtown Raleigh!

We’re hosting private events Friday & Saturday night this weekend so we will be closing to the public a little early.

Friday October 2: open until 7pm
Saturday October 3: open until 8pm

Swing by for lunch, brunch, or an early dinner before the private parties start! We’ll be back on our regular hours Sunday! You can also stop by the Taproom in Front St for trivia tonight at 7:30pm.

Staff Spotlight 🌟

Meet Elspeth!

She’s been with Clouds Brewing for more than 10 years, and she’s done everything from hosting and serving to bartending, shift managing, and coordinating events.

She started as a server at our original Raleigh restaurant, then worked her way through every Clouds location (outside of Chapel Hill.)

Now you can catch her at our Front St Taproom, managing and bartending or right here at our Downtown Raleigh location behind the bar!

Outside of work, she’s a proud dog mom to two, a Massachusetts native who ran away from the winters, and a kindergarten teacher by day!

More than a decade of showing up and leveling up ☁️💫
