We have two really amazing breeding sows to let go of. They would be great additions to any farm. These ladies are wonderful and sad to see them go but we are reorganizing our breeding program.
🐖 Carole Bacons is a 3 year old tamworth/Hampshire cross was used for 4h then farrowed twice. Her latest litter was 13 total piglets and she did amazing.
🐖 Patricia is a 2 year old Hampshire cross was used for 4h then farrowed once. Litter of 10 and she did great for her first time.

We have been patiently waiting for mama goose to hatch her eggs! Monday was the day and these 5 little babies are so cute! We typically will let them set up their nest and lay in the coop but as soon as they hatch we move them inside so the other birds don't interfere with the babies. This mama is very protective!

The last month or so has been pretty busy around the ranch. We farrowed 32 piglets out of 2 gilts and 1 sow! Our new mommas did amazing for their first time and our 3 time momma made it look easy with a huge litter of 13, our biggest yet! As of now all of our piglets are already spoken for upon weaning but we will post availabilities if they come about. Piggie piles are my favorite so I'm sharing this cute photo to start your Friday off right!
